CanopyProof OSEnvironmental accountability infrastructure

Governance Layer

Policy-bound approvals, reviewer accountability, and conflict disclosure before public records.

Governance decisions bind to deterministic subjects, authenticated reviewers, conflict disclosures, and append-only audit events before proof, ESG, funding, or public risk actions can become institutional records.

Policy registry

Policies define the subject types, reviewer roles, and approval counts required for institutional actions.

  • proof issuance
  • ESG publication
  • funding allocation
  • risk release
review

Approval ledger

Approvals inherit reviewer identity from authenticated headers and bind to deterministic subject IDs.

  • policy ID
  • reviewer role
  • decision
  • rationale

Conflict disclosure

Open disclosures block proof validation until governance review clears or waives them.

Proof challenge lane

Public proof-record challenges immediately mark records as disputed until accountable review resolves them.

  • reason
  • evidence root
  • public outcome

Workflow Control

Evidence to public record, without collapsing review.

CanopyProof actions use Dropin identity, agents, trust, governance, memory, and AHIN events. AI can observe and recommend, but accredited human review remains final authority for proof records.

  1. 1

    Subject defined

Proof subject ID derives from project and sorted evidence IDs.

    Verification Layer

    deterministic

  2. 2

    Policy selected

Policy establishes reviewer roles and approval count.

  3. 3

    Conflicts checked

    Unresolved disclosures stop validation.

  4. 4

    Approval recorded

Approval writes a typed audit event and hash root.

    Challenge resolved

Accepted challenges revoke records; rejected challenges restore status only when no blocking challenge remains.

Production Boundary

CanopyProof records are environmental accountability records. They are not certified carbon credits, financial assets, carbon-tax offsets, guaranteed yield instruments, or automatic CANOPY distribution claims. Public admin routes must remain blocked and every mutation must be audit logged.
